A banded sea snake explores a reef, Bunaken Marine Park, Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Banded sea snakes, a type of krait, are highly venemous and their bite is capable of killing a human. However the snake's small mouth and back fangs, as well as their gentle nature, means that bites are exceptionally rare. These sea snakes are very inquisitive and will often approach divers very closely. Bunaken Marine Park is a very popular dive destination, famous for its beautiful coral reefs, marine biodiversity and vertical walls.Add to Cart Add to Lightbox Download
